Refund and Returns Policy

This policy explains how VERICOM AQUITAINE handles returns, refunds, exchanges, and cancellations for goods and services.

1) Scope

  • Goods: electrical/electronic/optical equipment and accessories sold by us.
  • Services: installation, call-outs, diagnostics, and maintenance.

2) Right of withdrawal (consumer online purchases of goods)

If you are a consumer purchasing at a distance (online/email/phone), you have 14 calendar days from delivery to withdraw without giving a reason.
How it works:

  • Tell us by email within 14 days: contact@vericomaquitaine.com (include order no. and items).
  • Return the product(s) within 14 days after your notice, unused and in original packaging with all accessories.
  • You pay return shipping unless the item is defective or we shipped the wrong product.
  • We refund the product price (and the least expensive standard outbound shipping, if any) once received and checked.
    Exceptions: custom-made/special-order items, items unsealed for health/safety, cut-to-length cable, installed/used consumables, digital downloads.

3) Returns & exchanges (all customers)

  • Eligibility: items must be unused, complete, and resellable with original packaging/manuals.
  • Process: request an RMA by email → we confirm the return address and instructions → send back with a trackable service.
  • Damage in transit: if your parcel arrives damaged, note it with the carrier and notify us within 48 hours with photos.
  • Exchanges: possible subject to stock; we’ll confirm options by email.

4) Defective or incorrect items

  • Within 30 days of delivery: we’ll repair, replace, or refund after assessment. We cover reasonable return costs for confirmed defects or our shipping errors.
  • After 30 days: you benefit from legal and manufacturer warranties (see §7).

5) Refunds

  • Inspection within 5 business days of receipt.
  • Refund issued to the original payment method; your bank may take 3–10 business days to post it.
  • We may deduct any unrecoverable loss of value due to handling beyond what’s necessary to establish the nature/characteristics/functioning of the goods.

6) Services: scheduling, cancellation & refunds

  • Rescheduling: free ≥24 hours before the appointment (subject to availability).
  • Cancellations <24 hours before a scheduled visit may incur a call-out/late-cancellation fee and any non-returnable materials already purchased, as stated on your quote/order.
  • Work already performed (diagnostics, travel, partial installation) is billable even if you cancel further works.
  • No physical “returns” for services; quality issues are handled via remediation or partial refund aligned with the signed quote/contract.

7) Warranties (France/EU)

  • Legal guarantee of conformity (consumer purchases): 2 years from delivery.
  • Guarantee against hidden defects: per French Civil Code.
  • Manufacturer warranties: apply where provided; we help with claims—proof of purchase required.

8) Non-returnable items (examples)

Custom-made or special-order items, cut-to-length cables, installed or used consumables, items not suitable for return for health/safety once unsealed, gift cards, downloadable software.
